EDI re-modified the High-Cut helmet in 2016 with new lightweight armoring material which yielded a 27% lighter model than previous styles. As a result, this has allowed EDI to manufacture the helmets with additional user cushions / pads to be placed inside of the helmet for optimized comfort for the end user
